    Help,

I’ve been staring at this stone for weeks. I can’t figure out the best shape for high yield. My biggest problem is that it’s fat in the center, and then gets thin/flat towards the edges. Does anyone have an idea as to what shape would give me the best yield?

If you’d like to recommend a diagram that works well in corundum I’m all ears too. Thoughts I’ve had are round, heart and trillion. But I’m getting sick of staring at this thing.

I just cut Jeff Grahams Tic Tac design in a similar piece of dark blue corundum. Worth a look.
