I am cleaning up a few laps that came with the Seattle Fac-Ette that the local rock club has acquired. One of these laps has the word “Allen” stamped near the center. On the other side of the center hole it has “600” stamped. On the flip side is has “1200”. The lap is copper colored, looks to be solid not plated, and is fairly heavy. I would guess that it was purchased in the early 1980s.

Does anyone recognize this description? Can you tell me more about this item?

    Thanks.

the lap was made for/with the allen faceting unit, that was used back in the 40’s-60’s. i have an allen mast and head from a machine. they copper are antiques and contaminating as the grip can come out as easily as pushed in. do your self a favor— don’t use it.
