Thanks to all responsible and the hard work for putting out the newsletter, I can see there was a lot of work involved. There is a lot of good info on there.
I am entering the novice competition this year and have started on the stone. I’m already having problems with lap contamination but I’ll work it out.

I’d welcome any comments or any discussions with other novice competitors if it’s permitted.

I found it interesting when I googled Bruce Jeroh after reading his facebook post which was quoted. Not sure how to respond to something like this:

Is there a forum area to discuss problems/people like this so we are adequately prepared when we deal with vendors??

There is no forum area devoted to this sort of thing. I suggest that you discuss it on the Facebook group mentioned at the link you gave.

I really enjoyed the newsletter and want to thank all involved. I personally learned the mindset one has to have when achieving perfection and that mistakes happen but can be avoided and should be at all cost. Take your time to achieve the best and enjoy the moment doing it.
Did I miss something or was there not a entry form for the Single Stone Competition?

Scott, see pages 46 and 47 of the March newsletter for the procedure and entry form.
