At shows, cutting or polishing girdles often results in splatter hitting the demonstrator or watchers. To solve this, I created a shield from an 8″ x 26″ piece of 1/8″ thick plexiglass. I bent it at a right angle 8″ from one end to redirect splatter. This clear shield protects everyone and keeps the workspace clean, enhancing the demonstration experience.
