For an older V2, I’d first check whether it’s using a standard taper (ER-style, Morse, etc.) or a proprietary spindle insert. If you can post a photo and any dimensions of the existing ferrule or spindle opening, there’s a good chance someone can identify it or suggest a compatible replacement.
