Facet design by Mike Zinski
Hi all,
Mike Zinski sent me a facet design around a month ago. He asked me to post here if I liked it. He has a good design. If anyone wants to try reach out to him @gemmakermz and I’m sure he will send a copy. Attached is the garnet I cut in his design.

I also contacted mike about his desgn and he was very generous and sent me the design, a nice list of gem materials and their properties, and a piece of yag to cut.
I cut his design and it turned out great. -
Nice work! Stone looks great. I never thought of taking a pic on a mirror. I’m going to try that out too lol!
And to be fair Mike sent me some yag too, which was super cool of him. I cut the design in the garnet simply because I prefer to cut natural material.
