LD GEMS V2.2 Arrived Early
Yes, my faceting machine from LD GEMS arrived yesterday, about a week earlier than I was expecting it. I unpacked the two boxes and was very impressed with the packing. BUTT then you know that the gawds don’t like to see us get too happy. Someone or other at UPS decided to play football or dropsie with the smaller package and managed to damage it. We are still assessing the extent of the damages. It is not pretty. Putting all of that aside I dove into the boxes, unpacked everything and started to assemble the machine as best I could. Fortunately, it’s not rocket science…lol… I’d post a photograph of it here, but I am not finding a way to do that – one of those days…grrr… The fit and finish of the machine appear to be excellent. How it operates will have to be examined another day. All for now.
