I’ve been working hard on this article for the past year and I’m overjoyed to see it complete. I’m really proud of this one because I pieced it together for so many disparate sources yet it came together clearly and linearly. I will admit that this is also the longest article I’ve written, about a half an hour’s read so maybe get comfy on the couch or in the bath with a favorite beverage. I hope you enjoy this journey into the world of Bohemia and the cutting of the famous Czech Garnets.

Your remarks are more alluring than the sensation of playing fireboy and watergirl, the most popular game in existence right now that young people like myself are searching for. I’ve never read this before, but the concept you present is so novel.

Fascinating article, Justin. Thank you. My “ToDo” box has a Victorian brooch with a very elaborate layout of these little Bohemian garnets – and two are missing. I need to replicate the rose-cut and while it should be simple, I keep doing other things.
