Tracking Down Copies of Jeff Graham’s Facet Diagram Books
Hello all. I’m trying to track down copies of the following books by Jeff Graham:
Gram 1 Faceting Designs
Gram Faceting Designs Additional Design #4 Money Cuts
Gram Faceting Designs Additional Design #7 More Money Cuts
Does anyone have an idea of where I could get ahold of copies of these books? I can’t seem to find them available for purchase anywhere and so far the library is having a hard time tracking them down for interlibrary loan.
Any help would be appreciated.

As I understand, The Rock Peddler has several volumes for sale. Sadly, not the ones you seek. I purchased a few while Jeff was alive, and was fortunate enough to pick up the rest to complete the set (minus Learn to Facet the Right Way as I’d already been cutting for several years).
Let me know if you’d like to chat about any of his designs, most are quite good.

Thanks! I only started faceting in the last few years and I found the designs he had for free on his website (thanks to the wayback machine). Every one of those designs were great, especially the tic tac design on darker pyrope garnet that I had, so ever since last year I’ve been trying to track them down. I did pick up a few of the volumes from the rock peddler thanks to you. Sadly, I can see the designs that I’m missing on the archive of his website, but the website only has the renderings from the books and not the faceting instructions for the designs that were in the books. The nice lady at the rock peddler told me that his family isn’t really interested in continuing to publish those design books so I guess I’ll just have to keep an eye out on ebay and see if they eventually show up.

If you wouldn’t mind contacting me, Brian, I have collected a great number of designs from the internet over the years. I can share some designs and/or some mining holes. Mining for designs is great sport!

I have complete set of all designs by Gram, purchased way back from the family rep at the time. I will not sell as a loyalty to the family wishes. Let me know which designs you still need.

It takes serious precision to follow those old faceting designs, much the same as the focus you need for drift boss.
