I agree with Michael. Let all that want to compete in the novice class start cutting a new stone. I feel as though many have forgot what is the purpose of competing. This kind of cutting is supposed to be a pleasurable and just a hobby. I cannot see this being the fault of the USFG. Maybe they have been slow in reporting what happened with the hope the stones would show up. If that had happened there would have been no reason to start the drama. Sit down with your machine and enjoy cutting a new stone and enjoy yourself. The experience gained will only help you in your journey of cutting gemstones for competition.
