There are two different competitions. Ever year, USFG has the “Single Stone Competition”, where we provide a cutting diagram, then people cut the stone and send it to the USFG to be judged.
In the past, there was a second competition, hosted by Gemology Online. This was a facet diagram design competition, where competitors wrote a new facet diagram, and submitted it to be judged. This competition doesn’t exist anymore.
