GabbyG, I am right handed and started on a right handed facetron, why wouldn’t I right? I am right handed. Well, I always wanted an ultratec… then one day I was offered an AMAZING deal on an Ultratec V2, then I found out it was “left handed” and was super bummed. The owner said that he was right handed as well, but was taught to facet on left handed machines. I bought the machine determined to “get used to it”… I AM SOOOOO happy on this machine, it feels super natural, much moreso than on the right handed machine, for me anyway. I encourage you to try cutting a stone on both before you make your investment. I would never have known how much more I enjoy faceting with everything on the left.
