Probably more skill than the machine used. There are some very talented cutters in the Orient. The time spent on a commercial stone in the cutting houses averages 6 minutes. At least that is what I was told by a friend of mine who had visited them who owned a rock shop in Franklin, NC. I bought pounds of rough from him before he retired and closed his shop.
