    Hello all,

do any of you have any feedback or experience regarding the D’lite resin bonded laps. i am wondering if they will in anyway replace the nubond 600 which i have found gives my stones the most fabulous pre-polish

Hi Carl, Did you purchase one from Marsh? I go from 600 to 3k to 50k and if needed 100k and 200k. Love them, fast and if used right work charms.

I have the 600, 3k, 50k, CeOx and Alox. I am content with them, I especially like the 600 to reach the meetpoints and 3000 to pre-polish.

Like they advertise, they really are not cutting laps. However, for smaller stones, they can be used to cut most facets. These were the first/only laps outside metal toppers I have, so I cannot compare to the other types of laps like Batt, Ceramic, etc.

I’m having trouble with my first sapphire (natural Ceylon). I’m getting a lot of orange peel at every level which they claim should be eradicated using their laps. But maybe I’m doing something wrong or should use another grade they offer in between polishing.

    Hi Kensington,
I used the brutus A-2 for the peal. These days I go from steel 80/100 to 360 to 600 then switch over to the LL laps for meets and final polish. I also have the 100 and 200k for the natural and that is amazing too.
