I tried to find old some post already about this topic, but I couldn’t.

If I have some stone I want to re-cut, how should I know what is the minimum angles in order to maximize yield but still not allowing a window to appear?

There’s any formula or way to know that?

    Sorry the ignorance!!

    Thanks in advance,
    Mongui

Windowing occurs when one cuts less than the Critical Angle of the material. See my response to your GCS question.

Then the critical angle would be the border to assure there’s high yield and still not window right?
Going to to read the other answer to my question right now.
Thank you very much, really appreciate.
