It’s impossible to get in touch with Graves. If I can’t get in touch with them by phone, I’m surely not ordering online from them. Does anyone know any specs on the drive belt so I can order some from Grainger??

    Tnx,

    Bill Harbour

I believe Graves is out of business. I assume your belt is shot. If so, cut it and measure the length exactly. Go to McMaster-Carr, find the right shape and length, and you are ready to go. I replaced the belt on my Raytech Shaw myself since the current owner only wants to sell new machines….

OK…their website is still up and the phone system answers the phone with a message. But I’ve tried many times over the last 6 months or so to get in touch with them and no go. I did order a belt from Grainger.

    Thanks,

for the small belts on the faceting machines i’ve found a green belt making material on ebay sold out of china in different diameters that works great to replace belts with. you cut the length you need and using heat, i used an alcohol lamp, you weld the ends together. i’ve got two machines running with that. and cheap too as you can buy a length to make more than one… contact me by email and i can point you to that ebay item if still available.
