This is an older model that Zane upgraded to have the functions now found in the current version of the machine. For anyone interested in learning basic concave faceting, this is a lot easier on the wallet than the Ultra Tec Fantasy machine.

    $900 plus shipping, US only.

I am afraid I know nothing about Facetron.

From photos, it looks like it should. I assume what I have is what is currently described on the Ploymetric OMF page “Adapter slotted slide plate for upright masts that are held to their base with a carriage bolt or similar system. Fits most major brand masts on the market today.”

I have a Fac-Ette and for my needs, they provided a post on a base that worked with the slot so that I could move the protractor/mast piece from the Fac-Ette to the OMF.

Perhaps someone more familiar with OMF and Facetron can chime in on this.

Id like to give your machine a go. Is it sold? If not I’d like to buy it if the reason for you selling it has NOTHING go do with it not working properly.

As far as I can tell, the machine works fine. The reason for selling is that I decided to get an Ultra-Tec fantasy machine which has a lot more options (for me to learn and hopefully eventually master.)

Currently am in Tucson. Returning home Tuesday so it will be a few days before I can follow up. I can send you an invoice via PayPal. Also since for packing there will be some disassembly, I will email additional photos showing the process to make it easier to get ready for use at your end.

Usually the private messages like responses to one’s forum postings will result in an email being sent with a link to the item. When you login, you can see the messages by going to your profile and then the messages tab. This particular forum application is not as clear as some others, so I can understand when folks have issues with it.

Will try to get an email off to you before the day is out.

To use a Facetron Mast you need the optional mast plate. Zane makes these and the base plate should already have the pre-drilled holes for mounting.
In the pic it appears as though it has the plate for Facetron masts.

The sale to the previous person interested did go through so this OMF is long gone.

    The machine already sold?
And may I ask , what’s the different between omf and fantasy machine?
Is somethings that omf can do but fantasy machine can?

    My Machine has been sold.

The OMF (Polymetric) and the Fantasy Machine (UltraTec) are very different designs. The UT machine is a later generation with a very different design and greater ease when it comes to going beyond straight on concave faceting. It is also a lot more expensive than the OMF.
