I am tired of seeing multiple listings for “Changhong Plastics Group Imperial Plastics Co., Ltd.”, apparently an architectural business in China, whose products have nothing to do with faceting, being posted by ‘helengriffin’, as they seem to be nothing more than spam!

Today there was 10 such postings minutes apart from this person or company!
Here are the headings of these posts – “Antique Wood Bathroom Set-WBW0201A”, “Professional bags(normal bags&waterproof bags) manufacturer since 2007”, “Product Group:Industrial Gases”, “SOLARWAY NEW ENERGY CO., LTD”, “Xi’an Haosen Precision Casting Co., Ltd”, “Nanjing Feida Machinery Co., Ltd”, “Aluminium Grating & Handrail Systems”, “China Starwin is the leading antenna manufacturer and sepciallized in phased array antenna”, “Purple Airless Acrylic Emulsion Bottle” (a beauty product).

Would someone in the Guild do something to prevent such postings!

Anyone can join the USFG. Becoming a member is easy. Once they are a member they can post spam until they are removed from membership. It can also be be done by hacking the website or a members account. The website is protected by from bots. If they make it harder to get in, it will make it harder for members to use the site. I think they do a good job of quickly removing spam from the forums.

This spammer was removed the same day he or she registered. Sorry, I can’t promise better than that.

Thank you Alan! I didn’t say anything the first time it happened, but the second time, well it just hit a nerve. Again, thank you for the quick action.
