Robert H. Long and Norman W. Steele were pioneers in the development of mathematical methods of designing faceted stones. One of the best teaching tools is still their book “Introduction to Meetpoint Faceting”. From 1967 to 1997, they published a newsletter called “Seattle Facetor Design”. These writing are historically important, and still useful today.
Bob Long has generously scanned his copies of these newsletters and given the USFG permission to place them on their website. USFG member Bob Lawrence has contributed time and effort to convert the scanned files to PDF format.
