    Good evening all,

New member here and getting back into faceting as an adult after learning and cutting a few stones in my high school and college days.

After so many years away from the hobby, I have only been able to reconnect with a couple of my old resources for rough- and so I am planning to visit the Tucson Show for the first time in 2024.

My primary interest is in higher end tourmaline rough- in parcels. I would rather spend the whole budget with one great dealer and get the best possible mix and quality in a single parcel than buy odds and ends piecemeal from here and there. And at the end of the day, if I come across a particularly good opportunity to secure a really great parcel or two of any semi-precious rough that is outside the realm of commonly available, that would overtake my specific interest in tourmaline.

Also, Jan-Feb is a particularly tough time for me to be away from work- so I cannot go for several days.

Taking both factors into account, my plan is to fly in very early one morning and come home same-day- realistically giving me 4-6 hours to go shopping. In other words, one show- and probably not enough time to fully walk that one show.

I have done a fair amount of online research, but am still having difficulty determining which one show to attend with my limited time. Given the above parameters, I would be grateful for any suggestions on my best odds for which show to visit where I am most likely to find what I am seeking either in the booths or wandering the halls of the related hotel to visit vendors operating out of their hotel room.

    Many thanks for any guidance!

With only 4-6 hours, I would head to the Pueblo show. But some of the best sources don’t have booths. You need to figure out who they are and hook up with them either in Tucson or somewhere else. The last USFG had a list of some really good reliable facet rough dealers. Friend them on Facebook, Instagram or check out their websites to get a feel for what they carry. If you see something you like get a dialogue going and let them know what you are looking for.

Thank you @LauraLindberg! Appreciate this very much. I know it will still be a bit of a needle in a haystack, but you just made the haystack much smaller.

It sounds like you have an exciting plan for the Tucson Show! With limited time, I recommend using the Basketball Stars platform. It’s a great resource for connecting with knowledgeable dealers and finding quality parcels quickly. The community is really helpful, and you might discover gems that align with your interests. Wishing you the best of luck in your search! @Basketball Stars

Hi all, UK-based user. I found this while looking for something less intense than slots, and it came up in a Reddit thread about casual evening games. What stood out was the slower pace—it didn’t feel rushed. While exploring, I clicked into Sun Bingo from a shared comment. Played a few rounds without expecting much, but ended up hitting a decent win that made the session worthwhile.

I’ve been trying out various options lately and noticed that it’s not just the number of games that matters, but also the platform’s stability. I like that The Star Casino pokies launch quickly and smoothly, and the selection is quite wide—from classics to more modern slots with bonus features. It’s also a good option for Australian players because the games are well-adapted to the local audience. I liked that I could easily switch between slots without encountering a cluttered interface or unnecessary elements that distract from the gameplay.

Among casino games accessible to British players, Plinko Aztec can appeal to users who prefer straightforward mechanics instead of traditional reels and paylines. Before choosing a UK-facing online club, I recommend checking the minimum stake, maximum payout, volatility options, mobile compatibility, and whether the result history is clearly displayed. Bonus conditions matter just as much as the game itself. Players should review wagering multipliers, expiry periods, maximum bonus bets, excluded payment methods, and any withdrawal limits connected with promotional funds.

Great! One of the things I usually compare before spending time on any platform is how the payment section is organized. Different services can have different payment methods, verification requirements, and general account procedures, so I prefer reading about these details first. While browsing different resources, I came across Get Slots, where I found information about the available payment options, account verification, and other financial features in one place. It was useful because it allowed me to compare several platforms without having to search through multiple websites. Having all of that information organized together makes it much easier to understand how the payment process works before exploring a platform further.
